Blue Moon, Blue Heart: Night Nidra Soundbath
In honor of the rare Blue Moon, coming up on none other than All Hallow’s Eve, we offer a restful evening of Yoga Nidra deepened with a soundbath.
Channel this full moon magic with us on October 28th. Yoga Nidra is a lying down meditation used to deeply relax the body and mind. Known as an ancient form of hypnosis, it brings you into a deep state of calm with heightened access to your subconscious mind and intuitive self. At a time when the veil between worlds will be thinnest, what messages can you receive?
The soundbath helps expand this experience and will be eased into with a gentle hypnosis to help you access a safe place to absorb the wisdom of your subconscious. Both practices will be centered in nourishing the heart. The mind and body need moments of deep relaxation and both benefit greatly from these practices meant to calm the nerves and awaken the spirit
.Led by Brenda Umana (Mother of the Mind) and Emily Wittenhagen (Breĕze Holistic).

FAQs:
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes, even PJs! Unlike Vinyasa or Hatha yoga, yoga nidra has minimal movement so active clothes are not required.
What props do I need?
For yoga nidra, have two blankets handy (one will be used to drape over the body and the other to support your head). If the room you’re in is bright, a light scarf to drape over your eyes will feel nice.
For the soundbath, have headphones handy as they can be an ideal way to experience the soundbath.
How should I prepare for the event?
Create a cozy and calm space to lie down. If possible, eat dinner beforehand or a light-snack. Just not too full or hungry during your practice.
Who is this for?
Anyone wanting to deeply relax and restore the body, mind, and soul!
