Meditation on Paper with Calliope Community

Meditation on Paper with calliope community

About this course

“Think of journaling as a brush for your own soul, just like brushing your teeth each morning and each evening. It clarifies the mind, provides room for quiet, private reflection, and gives one a record of their thoughts over time” – Stoic Philosophy

Have you ever tried meditating but felt like you couldn’t sit still? Maybe you then tried journaling because you heard it’s a good way to release thoughts and feelings, but when you saw the blank page, you seemed to have no thoughts to write down.

Our thoughts are racing a million miles per second, mixed in with the daily demands of life. What if you could reap the benefits of meditation without stopping your momentum? The fact that you noticed that you can’t sit still or that you have a flood of thoughts in your mind, is mindfulness in itself. And it’s also your body’s way of giving you feedback that there’s a lot going on inside. Journaling has been around for centuries and is often an overlooked form of mindfulness.

Join us to dive deep into the art of mindful journaling. You’ll take away 4 tangible ways to begin a journaling practice that can be used at any moment.

Everyone can benefit! If you’re curious about other ways to meditate, or if you find yourself saying “I don’t meditate” or “I don’t know how to meditate” this could be for you.
