Yoga Nidra Training & Immersion — 25 Continuing ed credits*

Yoga Nidra is a lying-down meditation used to deeply relax the body and the mind.

Different than what we typically think of Yoga and different from what we typically think of Meditation — explore what it’s like to be between asleep and awake known as the Hypnagogic state.

Immerse yourself in this healing practice for yourself and if you’re a practitioner, walk away with new skills to infuse in your offerings.

* Now through 2021, online courses may be counted as contact hours for Continuing Education (CE) requirements.

For short 5, 10, or 40 minute classes.

While having more time for a Yoga Nidra practice is essential for the body and mind to fully rest, there are still many benefits for short — 5 or 10 minutes — classes. Give it a try mixing and matching your sequences with this guide!

Training Dates & What to Expect

This is now a VIRTUAL immersion/training. Due to the continuation of the pandemic and the delta variant, in order to keep everyone safe and healthy, this is now an all virtual immersion.

Each day we’ll start off practicing so that you can continue to experience the practice in your own body. It is through that experience that we become better facilitators. While each day will be slightly different, you can expect moments of integration, reflection in group and journaling as well as practice teaching in small groups.

Brenda Umana, MPH, 500-RYT

Hi! My name is Brenda or you can call me Bee.

I’m super passionate about sharing the mindful practices of yoga and meditation. I’ve devoted a big chunk of my life to learning including a Masters of Public Health from Columbia University and over 500-Hours of training within yoga, meditation, and Vedic philosophy. These practices continue to feed my soul and invite a connection and conversation to my mind, body, and soul. I hope that however we meet or whatever I offer you, it gets you back to your truest self synchronizing your body, breath, and mind to walk in inner alignment and peace.

When I’m not teaching, I’m most likely running OM Marketing, my mindful marketing business, or day-dreaming in the sunshine.

I hope to see you at one of my classes or training offerings. ॐ
